As a real estate professional at Threalty Services Limited, I'm passionate about staying informed and helping others navigate this dynamic industry. Recently, I had the privilege of attending two fantastic events that solidified my belief in the power of industry gatherings – for both professionals and consumers alike
First up, we attended a GIPS webinar on the Landlord Tenant Act 2022. The discussion, led by industry heavyweights Mr. Jimmy Wakoko (Portfolio Manager, Broll Uganda) and Mrs. Kiraabo Vicky (experienced real estate lawyer), was insightful and packed with valuable information. It highlighted the importance of understanding your rights as a landlord or tenant.
Following that, we participated in a twitter space on consumer protection in real estate transactions. This event boasted an impressive guest list, including once again, real estate attorney Viola Kirabo, Moses D. L. (Managing Director, Broll Uganda Ltd), and Mr. Baker Mugaino (Commissioner Land Registration at the Ministry of Lands Housing and Urban Development). The discussions focused on protecting all parties involved in real estate transactions.
